Algebra - I

Algebra I follows Pre-Algebra and is often considered the second of three junior high or high school math courses. We apply the concepts from Pre-Algebra to learning how to analyze and solve algebraic problems.  We connect expressions, functions, equations, and graphs.  Both analytical and graphical techniques are introduced helping to cement the relationships between graphs, equations, plots, and the mathematics behind them.

Topics include but are not limited to:

    • Linear Equations
    • Quadratic Equations Solving Methods
    • Other Polynomial Equations
    • Systems of Equations
    • Functions
    • Domains and Ranges of Functions
    • Exponents and Radicals
    • Inequalities
